Africa is a land or country rich in surprising culture, pretty scenery and pleasing wildlife roaming in its raw and natural habitat. We have done a special safari to visit the most famous parks of Tanzania and a few corners away from mass tourism. Visit the scenic Lake Manyara, the great Serengeti which gives us the opportunity to observe the “Big 5″, the stunning Ngorongoro crater full of wildlife, the small Tarangire home to herds of elephants and baobab, and also the little crowded Lake Eyasi, famous for the various tribes that inhabit it.
Accommodation is in tents equipped with comfortable mattresses and accessories that will make our stay more enjoyable. Meanwhile, transportation will be in a comfortable 4×4 vehicle which will lead us to see an authentic safari experience.
Day 1: Departure by scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport. Overnight on board.
Day 2: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport. Reception and transfer to the Lake Manyara. Once there, take a jungle safari park in the National Park. Observe a wide variety of animals, including elephants, monkeys, antelopes, hippos, lions and zebras, Lake Manyara is also famous for its huge variety of bird species, we will have the opportunity to see in their natural habitat. Herons, pelicans, geese, cormorants and flamingos migrate and fly to the lake to feed on algae that grows in the waters.
Day 3: Breakfast and transfer to Lake Eyasi area with picnic lunch in route. Afternoon visit this beautiful lake around which live the Hadzabe, an ethnic group that is believed to have inhabited this region for ten thousand years and still respect the traditions of their ancestors. The area is also inhabited by the Masai and other Bantu groups. The lake in turn, tends to hold pelicans and flamingos, among other waterfowl. Eyasi is a rewarding diversion for those seeking a remote and different in Tanzania. We will have activities with Datoga.
Day 4: Early in the morning we will join a group of Hadza to participate in a real hunting day. We return for breakfast. We later drive to Serengeti National Park.
Day 5: Full day Serengeti safari park, where the largest population of zebras, gazelles and wildebeest is concentrated. We also find predators (lions and cheetahs) and scavengers (hyenas and jackals) in a wonderful habitat in which coexist with elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and wild boar. Picnic lunch! Optionally you may make a “Balloon Safari”, all an experience!
Day 6: Morning safari in the Seregenti National Park to finish watching the “big five” if the previous days we had no luck. Picnic lunch in route! We follow the Ngorongoro Crater area, finding several towns along the way Masai. Oddly, the crater is often visited by Masai warriors. They are the same warriors that protect the pride of lions and leopards.
Day 7: In the morning, transfer by safari vehicles to Ngorongoro Crater for a safari deep to enjoy and watch the huge herds of animals. Then we travel toTarangire for accommodation.
Day 8: In the morning take a jungle safari in Tarangire Park, known for its herds of elephants and famous baobabs. The name of the park was taken due ngiri river runs through it. We later proceed back to Arusha to Kilimanjaro airport and catch the flight back to ourcountry.
A combination of the beautiful landscapes, friendly people and wildlife has made Tanzania safari the most exciting adventure ever and the top destination in the world.
